Fabrication venues are available to hire for meetings, classes etc
Fabrication venues are available to hire for meetings, classes, workshops etc for community groups, for a small fee.
Our shop has a disabled access area suitable for meetings, and our workspace is available for larger and messier projects, although isn’t currently wheelchair friendly, due to the age of it
We can leave you to your own devices or set up a course for you, and provide refreshments if required.
We are also available for crafty outreach learning programmes.
If you are interested in holding one of classes, or having a course developed for you, then please contact us for more details. We can run them in either your own premises, or at Fabrication. The skill levels range from card making and t-shirt painting, to teaching sewing, knitting, crochet etc. As well as gardening and historical themed projects
We have worked with a number of community organisations on projects for their members.
These include the Health For All Adults with Learning Disabilities project ‘The Bridge’ based in Holbeck, Leeds Mind beading project, Solace Refugee organisation, Leeds Mencap parents and carers group, the TUC Union Learn project and Yorkshire Federated Housing Passion4Fashion project/ among others. Also working with both adults and children at fun days and upskilling the workforce in local factories
