Come to the craftiest place in Leeds for our brand-new pottery painting sessions. Paint your choice of mug, plate, bowl, or tile with a design of your choosing using underglazes while you sit and chat with friends and family! At £30 per person with no hidden costs or fees, drinks and refreshments provided, this is the perfect opportunity to socialize and craft in Leeds City Centre. Paint your pottery, leave it a week or two, and when you get a text or email notification that your pot has been glazed and fired, come and collect it from the Fabrication reserve shelf at any point during opening hours! These courses will be run by Becky Walker of BBRT and supported by Katy Davies from Ceramic Rabbit. Becky has been making for as long as she can remember and currently sells mosaics and children’s clothes and accessories at Fabrication on Briggate. She loves to create and even though she sells broken glass and ceramics- she loves to paint pottery. Becky has been teaching for over 10 years and is excited to facilitate pottery painting sessions at the fantastic Fabrication Crafts! Katy is a talented ceramicist, and her craft has been passed down in her family for generations. She inherited her kiln from her grandmother, who was also a ceramicist, and Katy is excellent at hand building figurines. The class area is on the first floor accessed via 2 flights of stairs. Toilets are on the first floor and accessed via another set of stairs.
