Colour Exhibition – York

In conjunction with our new Fabrication Gallery Space in Leeds a cross city exhibition with our York Exhibition Space on the theme of Colour,

This exhibition brings together multiple disciplines exploring a bright, bold use of colour. From art to ceramics, textiles to jewellery, artists working in many mediums are showcasing work on the theme of colour that really stands out from the crowd.

The exhibitions runs in our new upstairs space above our shop on Coney Street and is on from the 13th September to the 31st October

    Crafty Corporate Events

    Corporate events at Fabrication Crafts Fabrication has been running Corporate Events since 2008, working with a wide variety of clients. We can run them inhouse in either Leeds or York or at your premises, from small teams up to large craft stations. We can have a set subject or theme an event for you with a wide variety of acitivities, just email us and we can discuss what you want for your workforce and your clients. Costs vary depending on how long you would like us to be there, the numbers involved and the event chosen. The Website booking is set at our basic class price pp but this is subject to negotiation A number of our regular classes are also suitable for parties and event so please ask for details. You can book the classes above directly from our website, however please note payment isn't taken until the date is confirmed with us, to make sure we have space on the required date and time for your event.

    Pop Up Markets Booking

    A new departure for Fabrication, a little pop up market in our community space. Each month will have a different theme and sell work by carefully curated local makers They will include a vintage market, independent designers, art and print fair among others Cost for a stall is £30 and includes the table and table cloth.

  • The Way I See It Art by Jude R 22nd – 28th Aug 2024

    Fabrication are pleased to announce that Jude R is returning to exhibit his work upstairs in our exhibition space from 1pm Thurs 22nd Aug - 2pm Wed 28th Aug 2024.

    Jude is 10 years old and loves art.  He has various visual impairments including colour blindness, so all of his work is in monochrome black and white.

    Free Entry.  Opening hours may vary from day to day. Our York exhibition space is situated on the first floor, accessibly via 2 flights of stairs, of the York Fabrication Retail space, 19 Coney St, York, YO1 9QL, within a 2 minute walk to buses and a 10 minute walk to car parks and to York Railway Station, surrounded by other independent shops, bars and restaurants and in the heart of York City Centre.
